TIBETAN SOS PRIVATE INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE SELAKUI, DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND

Tibetan SOS Private Industrial Training Institute, funded by SOS Kinderdorf International Austria, is under the administration of the Tibetan Children’s Village, Dharamsala. It is located at Selakui, 17km from Dehradun. The next session (2018 Batch) starts from 1st August 2018 (15th July 2018 for Professional Computer Application).

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

In today’s increasingly open economy, as in every other sphere of life there is unprecedented competition in the labor job market. Thousands of Tibetan students are passing out from schools and colleges every year into a limited job market where only the fittest can survive. As a result the unemployment and related social problems threaten to increase in the coming years in the Tibetan community. In response to this, Tibetan SOS Private ITI was founded with the objective of providing the Tibetan youth with a range of technical skills in various trades so that they can serve in industries and community centers in India and abroad or set up their own business for self-employment.
